Citizen of the Month Awards 2/22
On Friday, February 22nd, we will hold our Citizen of the Month awards at 8am on the yard (weather permitting)!
Throughout the month of February, students have been learning what it means to display perseverance; working towards a goal despite being faced with challenges. Each student votes for someone in their class who has displayed these qualities and believes they should be recognized.
Be sure to ask your child about how they can persevere through challenging situations. Each month, AMA will focus on a different trait based off the 7 habits of effective leaders.
The trait we will focus on in March is citizenship; making your school, community, and the world a better place.
Mrs. Thompson's first grade class will also be performing on this day at 2:00pm in the MPR.
All Citizen of the Month Awards are formal dress days.
