Inquiry Cycle Homework Reminder: Try the assessments from Engagement & Exploration or Choosing an Inquiry Topic stages and be prepared to share student samples and questions that arose, at our November meeting. For high school, please bring an example of an assessment you have used that aligns to digital literacy standards this fall. Optional: bring alternative assessments that also meet the rubric or suggested tweaks.
November 18 DL/TL Meeting - Remember to bring your homework (see above) as well as your Common Core and CAS binders to Tuesday’s meeting.
Save the dates! Highway 21 will be on June 2nd and 3rd. We hope you will all present this year and share the great things you do at your buildings.
CASL call for board members: The Colorado Association of School Libraries (a sub association of Colorado Association of Libraries - CAL) is in need of board members. Generally speaking, the commitment is about 1.5 hours of meetings a month, usually virtual meetings, to plan the twice yearly CASL workshops and related opportunities. Century Link Teachers & Technology Grant Program: The 2014-2015 Colorado CenturyLink Teachers and Technology Grant Program is now open for applications. In 2015, CenturyLink will give away more than $150,000 in grants to support technology projects in Colorado schools. Apply today for the chance to bring your creative technology ideas to life in your classrooms! Applications for the 2014 – 2015 grant program are due January 2, 2015.
