CKE Monday Notes
"If It's to Be, It's Up to Me!"
State of the School System Address
Tomorrow evening from 5:00-7:00 at MCHS, our school district will host our annual State of the Schools address. Our faculty and staff with perfect attendance and TOTY definitely need to be present and we want to encourage at least one faculty member from each grade level to be in attendance. And for those who do attend, please see Kay for a Duck Out Early Pass! If you can't make it for dinner at 5:00 perhaps you can come for the program at 6:00. Dr. McFee has promised that it will only last an hour so we should be out by 7:00. Hope to see you there!
100th Day of School
Although there has been a bit of debate about the actual 100th day of school, we are going to observe it tomorrow (2/28). It is hard to believe that the day after tomorrow will be the first day of March!
Career Day Data
Please be sure and enter the DOE Career Data ASAP for ALL students in grades 1-5. I will be running a report in the next couple of days and need all of this data entered no later than Wednesday. If you have any questions and/or concerns please let me know. THANKS!
Club Day with Pictures
This Friday at 1:00 instead of 1:15, we will commence with our February Club Day. Even though this is a dress up day it is the only day that we had to work with and all pictures have to be submitted to Mrs. Hammond for the yearbook very soon. Please be ready for pictures when Jim from BPI comes around.
Read Across America Week
As guest readers visit our school we would ask that you remind your students to be on their best behavior. It is very important that we treat our visitors with respect and thank them for taking time out of their busy schedules to be here. This is always a special week for us and we want our guests to enjoy visiting our school. We also want to say THANK YOU to Mrs. Hensley for getting everything organized for the week!
