Good Afternoon,
Better late than never! Here is yesterday's Tuesday Tidbit:
We hope this finds you safe and well! Here are a few helpful nuggets of information for you during our extended closure:
T-shirts Benefit Child Nutrition Meal Distribution
During the Extended District Closure, Child Nutrition is providing meals for free to students who need them, regardless of whether or not their family qualifies for free or reduced meals. To support those efforts and promote the strength and compassion of our community, we are selling these t-shirts, designed by Director of Marketing Derrick Docket.
The cost of each t-shirt is $15.75 and $10 from each order will go to the Child Nutrition Department to support the effort to feed all WSD students through the end of the school year. Please allow two weeks to receive notification that your order has arrived and is ready for pickup. Payments accepted via PayPal at paypal.me/WSDfoundation. Orders will not be placed until payment is received. Thank you for your support!
How to make your own mask
The CDC has advised that we all wear masks when we are in public settings like the grocery store to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Here are some instructions on how to make your own mask at home with items you probably already have. Additionally, stltoday.com shared a great one-stop link this week to all kinds of helpful information related to the pandemic, which includes the DIY mask information as well.
