NEWS FROM MRS. HAZARD, PRINCIPAL
Happy Friday SRES Families!
We had an AWESOME week together! And, our 2nd grade class did a wonderful job facilitating our All School Meeting this morning! Ask your student about the cupping mindfulness tool, the breaking syllables song, and the ball toss greeting. Well done, 2nd grade!
100th Day Celebration:
- Scavenger Hunt: 100 SRES Think It! Speak It! Write It! logos were found and together we filled a 100s chart!
- 4th grade brainstormed a list of 100 things they loved about SRES!
- Classrooms counted and grouped the many objects sent from home (thank you!)
- We are 100 days smarter (now 103!)!
Coin challenge:
- Thank you for making this annual event so engaging and fun!
- EVERYONE was a winner as over $1200 was raised for an all school field trip!
- 5th place: 3rd grade

WNESU FREE PUBLIC PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT
REGISTRATION OPEN
Windham Northeast Supervisory Union offers free public preschool housed in two of our elementary schools. We operate on the WNESU school year calendar. We have three classrooms and a finite number of preschool slots.
Our Process
Initial applications for a slot in the public sites are due by April 12, 2024. If we receive more applications than available slots by that date:
4-year-olds will be placed first.
After all 4-year-olds are placed, remaining slots will be filled through random selection.
All placement decisions will take into account:
district of residence; we strive to have the WNESU Early Education Center’s student population reflect the membership of our school districts in proportion to their representation in the WNESU.
family preference for site and schedule.

Ages: T-Ball (5-6); Rookie Ball (7-8); 10U (9-10); 12U (11-12)
Sign-ups are from Friday March 1st to Saturday March 30th
THERE WILL BE NO SIGNUPS ACCEPTED AFTER MARCH 30TH
Rates for the season are:
1 Player = $40.00 2 Players = $70.00 3 Players = $85.00 4 Players and up = $105.00

- 2nd is by filling out the form sent home from SRES on Monday and sending it with your payment to the following address by March 30th:
