Special Note from Coach Leslie

Greenville Splash workouts have been going strong. We have such a committed team of athletes that are dedicated to improving their fitness. Our workouts are always full of enthusiastic and energetic swimmers raring to go, which makes it so much fun to coach! I am so proud of our team for not only being a swim team but also a service organization. Thank you so much for donating and providing gifts and gift cards to help 25 special needs students and families in our community. Greenville Splash swimmers have big hearts!

Our annual Christmas party and holiday workouts were a huge success. Thank you to all our coaches for keeping everyone motivated to swim through the holiday season. Thank you to Mark Hohmann for hosting the Christmas party at his club house.

This year we have a lot of events that are open for community service. We are planning to host a meet this summer, but I am in need of some help behind the scenes with meet planning and securing volunteers & officials. We are also in need of help with our Adult Learn to Swim Program, specifically with organizing and registering swimmers. Let me know if you are interested.

We are super excited to have four new coaches: Eric Woods, Rebecca Maccaroni, Pam Ogle and Mark Kothe. Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise about triathlon training, endurance events and of course swimming! Rebecca will be coaching at the Kroc and GCAC. Pam will be coaching at GCAC primarily for the mid-morning group on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:00-10:30 am. Pam has an extensive background in swim coaching at the YMCA, summer league and teaching swim lessons. Eric has been teaching adult lessons for years at GCAC and coaches our Veteran Program. He is super excited to coach the evening group at GCAC. Mark has coached for Greenville Splash in the past, but is now back coaching at the Kroc. We are so fortunate to have such awesome coaches, come out and enjoy their passion and expertise. They are more than happy to help you meet your fitness goals.
