Moving Along With Mrs. Maddox

Dear Families,

We have attached our St. Joseph Re-Opening Plan. Remember you set the tone and respect for coming back to school in your home. If you have questions or concerns please send them my way, your thoughts are important to me. Throughout the month of August, we will be sending short PSA (public service announcement) videos with additional information and, of course, for your enjoyment. After you read through the plan please let us know what type of learning you would like to choose for your family (in person or remote). This is important for our planning purposes. Please also remember that this document may change several times over the next few months. We will continue to rely on our local JOCO Health Department and the Board of Education for the best up to date information to keep our students and staff safe. Look for a Sign Up Genius for Check-In Week for your family in your inbox, sometime next week.

In Christ, with a grateful heart!

Jodie Maddox, Principal

Learning Intent for 2020-2021

Due to COVID-19, Saint Joseph Catholic School will be offering two educational options when we are on the Navy Schedule for our students: Remote Learning and In-Person Learning.

In order for us to plan for your child, please indicate your choice for the 2020-2021 school year by clicking the following link.

Please complete this link by August 7th, 2020.

School Supplies

While school supply shopping keep in mind that we will be bringing items to school in small batches. Students will not necessarily be bringing all items at one time. Your teacher will let your student know what they will need the first two weeks of schools. In order to ease into the school day, routine, and space we will be doing all "things" at a slow pace. In addition to the school supplies previously listed, please plan on packing your child's lunch in a brown paper sack with their name on it. Cold lunch options will be available each day as well.

Please plan on sending your child with two to three extra masks for the week. We advise that you write your child's first initial and last name on the backside of the mask to ensure students are using the correct mask.
