From the Principal
We had another amazing week at Bush Elementary! Our students are doing an amazing job learning our classroom and school wide procedures and today they got to celebrate with shopping at our school store. Unfortunately, shopping took longer than expected, so two hallways will have to shop on Monday morning. Today was a learning experience, but we are looking forward to opening our school store two times a month.
Students can earn Bush Bucks for following our school wide expectations and Guidelines for Success. That includes responsibility, kindness, resilience, and integrity. The students are working hard for their Bush Bucks and we are so proud of them. Ask your children what they are doing to receive their Bush Bucks. I would love to hear what they have to say!
Have a great weekend!

Tuesday, August 30th 9:30am - Bush Elementary Library
Interested in volunteering at Bush Elementary? Please join us for an informational session to learn about the many opportunities we have for volunteers on campus. Volunteer requirements and safety protocols will also be discussed at this in-service. Copy room volunteers are asked to attend a work room training. Work room training will be held immediately after the volunteer in-service and again at 1pm. Please meet Mrs. Puffer in the front office for this training. Please sign-up to attend the volunteer training using this link.
Transportation changes must be made in writing before 2:00 PM. We cannot accept transportation changes by phone. To submit a transportation change, you may send a written note to your child's teacher or provide a not to the front office with the following information:
- the date
- your child's full name
- homeroom teacher
- bus number (if applicable)
- your signature
If an emergency arises, you may send an email to email@example.com. The e-mail must include all of the above information and must be received before 2:00 PM. If you submit a transportation change by email, it must go to the email address referenced above. Teachers do not check their email regularly throughout the day, so transportation changes should not be emailed directly to the teacher.
