Water Bottles
Parents - Please send your child with a water bottle to school every day. Our water fountains are only to be used for filling water bottles and NOT for drinking. We have a very limited supply of water bottles to pass out. We recently ran out of our supply of extra water bottles. Although we have ordered more, we would appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you so much!
Daylight Savings Time
Don't forget to set your clocks back this weekend and enjoy that extra hour of sleep!
Election Day!
There will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 3 due to Election Day!
Veterans Day = 1/2 day of school
On Wednesday, November 11, we have a School Improvement Day in the afternoon. Students will be dismissed at 11:15 AM. November 11 is also Veterans Day where we honor all of those who serve.
PTO FUN RUN and Other News
Thank you to everyone who participated and/or donated to the PTO Fun Run! It looked like the students had a great time being active those three weeks! Keep it up! We raised just over $4,700 from the Fun Run! We have just over $11,000 total towards our goal of $25,000 to install the playground!
The next PTO meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 19 at 6:30 PM via Zoom. Look for an email with the link!
PTO Virtual Book Fair
Beginning November 6, we will be having a Virtual Book Fair through Usbourne Books. All proceeds will go directly into purchasing books for classroom libraries. More information to come with details!
Macaroni Mountain
We will be collecting macaroni and cheese again this year to donate to the South Side Mission. We have done this for years and look forward to helping out once again! We will create a "mountain of mac n cheese" the week of November 16!
Thanksgiving Break
There will be NO SCHOOL from Wednesday, November 25 through Friday, November 27. Happy Thanksgiving! Hopefully, you can enjoy some time with family!
