Warren School
Regional School District No. 6
Warren E blast, May, 26th, 2016
Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,
Although there are only thirteen school days left, we still have so much to learn and to celebrate before we close our doors for the summer.
We look forward to seeing you this evening at our first end-of-year elementary Celebration of Learning. This event will be held from 5:00-6:15 PM in Wamogo's main gymnasium, and will feature music, dance, artwork, projects, student writing, and more from all three elementary schools.
Then, you are invited to join us on Friday morning for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony. You are welcome to join our procession as we march to the new Memorial, or you may plan to meet us there. More details can be found in the flyer below.
On June 2nd, volunteers are welcome to join in our Field Day festivities. Please call the office if you are interested in participating.
A complete listing of end-of-the-year events can be found in the "A Look Ahead" section at the bottom of this email. I look forward to seeing you often during these final weeks of the school year as we celebrate the learning of our Warren School students.
Best wishes,
Angela Rossbach, Ed.D.
Principal

Harvest of Dreams Summer Garden Maintenance
Every student at Warren School is helping to rejuvenate Harvest of Dreams as we enter our 15th growing season! Creating new mosaic raised beds to replace the removed tire beds, artistically painting stumps for a stepping path, redoing the stone pathways, designing and painting a mural on the greenhouse and building a tic-tac-toe table are some of the many projects in full swing this spring. The creativity, collaboration, and commitment being displayed as each task is tackled is inspiring. Our garden has been successful because of this commitment and support of Warren staff, students, and families. We are proud to be able to donate harvested produce to area soup kitchens and food banks. Come fall, we always look forward to our annual harvest luncheon. Please consider signing up to help maintain the garden for one week this summer. For the summer maintenance routine and sign up, please follow this link.
