National Honor Society
The November Service Project for the DLBHS National Honor Society includes sending Christmas cards to people in our community who could use some Christmas Cheer. If you have suggestions of individuals who would enjoy receiving a card from our amazing group of students, please send the name and mailing address to Mrs. Sandbo at the high school.
UPDATE: Because of the weather delays and interruptions, we will be doing Christmas in January for most of our card and gift deliveries this year.

National Honor Society Information
Membership criteria
To be selected to the National Honor Society, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. They are also required to complete an information form showing their interest and desire to be a part of this organization. The information forms are reviewed and selections are based on a variety of factors, which can be reviewed in the bylaws linked to the website (see below).
For students considering NHS as an option in the coming year, we highly recommend keeping track of community service hours over the summer and into the next school year. The current bylaws require a minimum of 10 service hours per year for all members. Other requirements include attending all monthly meetings, carrying goals of scholarship, leadership, character, and service, and actively participating in group projects through the year.
Information forms will be shared with eligible students in January 2023. For more information, please contact the chapter advisor, Mary Eldredge Sandbo at the high school.
