Registration is Open for Girls in Grades 9-12!
A Day of Empowerment for Girls, by Girls!
Girls in grades 9-12 from any school are invited to participate in this unique program designed to develop the leadership potential within each student. Attendees will participate in a series of interactive workshops led by girls, for girls! Talented students from across the region will share their leadership skills with other conference attendees - providing girls an opportunity to grow as leaders and display their skills and knowledge! Participants are guaranteed to interact and make friends with a diverse group of students who share similar interests.
Conference Objectives:
- To inspire young women to set clear goals for future leadership development.
- To increase self-awareness of their current leadership strengths and begin to build their own personal leadership philosophy.
- To develop a powerful network of like-minded emerging leaders.
- To discover their unique leadership style and grow as a public speaker.
- To expose girls to innovative approaches to leadership.
- To teach skills to help girls gain confidence, advocate for themselves, and grow their leadership abilities.

If you are a female in grade 9-12 that has started a business, or created a product or service that you would like to promote, please join us as a vendor at this event. Vendor registration is $25 in addition to the $25 conference registration fee. This will provide you with a 6-foot table to display your products or services.
All vendors must check in between 8:00 and 8:30am on April 22nd. Booths must be completely set up by 8:45am and remain open until 2:30pm. You must provide your own tablecloth and are responsible for leaving the vendor area in the condition that it was originally found, i.e. remove all debris such as boxes or trash.

Registration Fee:
$25 for attendees and workshop presenters
(includes conference, Brag Party, lunch and a t-shirt)
$50 for teen-preneurs
(includes all listed above plus 6-foot table to sell products or services)

About YWCP
The mission of the YWCP Foundation is to break the cycle of poverty for young urban girls by increasing their economic self-sufficiency through improved leadership skills, career awareness, college readiness, and college access. To accomplish this, YWCP Inc. creates, implements, and supports innovative programs that educate the whole girl - academically, socially, and emotionally. These programs include the Girls' Leadership Conference, 9th Grade Summer Bridge, and "Cool Women/Hot Jobs."
