Tortoise, Hare Remix!
The Turtle, and the Hare, are two animals. But, these are any animals, the can talk and build and have jobs, and races. They race to see who gets the most food for winter.
“Bang!” the shot fires and they’re off to the race. It’s the Turtle and the hare the Turtle is one foot from the line and the Hare is already 1 mile away. The Hare sees that and takes a nap. The Turtle catches up and the hare wakes up and has lots of energy and runs as fast as he can. The Turtle is almost at the line like ten feet away and the Hare is like a mile away, so he runs as fast as he can because he has energy, and wins the race and the crowd goes crazy. The Hare gets the food and sleeps some more.
The moral or lesson of this story is that sleep helps.
