Pioneer Trail Mission

Pioneer Trail Elementary will foster a community of students, parents, and staff dedicated to the development of every individual’s ability to learn. Staff and parents will expect each student to achieve at his or her maximum potential, both academically and behaviorally. As a community, we promote a safe, supportive environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and a life-long passion for learning.

Reminders! Reminders!

Run with the Pack is a PTO fundraiser during Specials Classes on Friday, September 11th. Students run/walk laps to raise money from pledges they have collected. More information will be available next week about the details.

AM Car Duty Changes have been made on the original schedule in Drive. Be sure to check the schedule to see if your times have changed this quarter.

Daily Grade Level Schedules to Suzy by Friday morning.

JCPS Gala is Sept. 22nd at 6:00 pm. It is a lovely evening and we need to show our support for our grant winners from last year who will be recognized at the event: Amanda McCutchen, Ashley Angle and Katie Whitener. PTO is sponsoring a table for eight, and our grant winners will have an additional table, so there is no cost to staff who attend. Let Suzy or Elizabeth know by September 11th.

Growth Plans can be accessed on TalentEd by selecting the 14-15 school year, and then the View button for the Growth Plan. New team members will adopt the same growth plan as their grade level.

Classroom Observations are starting this week. Elizabeth and Suzy will be in your rooms to document the incredible learning going on with your students!

Art and Music SLO Testing will be underway next week. Art will be using the computer lab for 3rd grade testing. Music will be in their regular room. P.E. has been completing the physical fitness testing for 4th grade. Please help your students to understand the importance of these assessments if it comes up in classroom conversations. Thanks!

Update your websites! Make sure they are up to date and parent friendly with information that will be helpful for important parent communications.

PTO - All staff need to fill out a membership form and join! It's free this year. You will get updates and the link to the "Sign Up Genius" to volunteer for the different PTO events. The next PTO meeting is September 8 at 6:30 in the library.

Social Committee Dues - All staff need to pay $15 for "Wolf Pack Week" and additionally either $12.50 for part time employees or $25 for full time employees to cover the cost of our social committee. Please make checks payable to Pioneer Trail. There is a collection envelope in the vault.
