Rowe Lane Campus News
Rockets,
Groundhog's Day is a reminder that spring is just around the corner! During this time of year, we will experience a wide variety of weather patterns that have the potential to impact our campus traffic flow. See helpful tips below to ensure a safe arrival and dismissal for our Rockets.
- Drivers driving East on Speidel in the morning will directly face the sunrise, making it difficult to see ahead. Please slow down as you approach the crosswalk to avoid an abrupt stop and to maintain a safe distance from children crossing.
- All students must be accompanied by an adult to the main crosswalk in front of the school building or dropped off in the car line. For their safety, students may not be dropped off from the front parking lot during arrival.
- Campus disabled parking spaces tend to be more utilized on rainy days. Vehicles parking in disabled parking spaces require a handicap placard that is displayed so that anyone can see it from the front or rear of the vehicle.
- Anticipate slower-moving and increased traffic on rainy days. Leaving the house ten minutes earlier in the morning will contribute to safer traffic flow.

Global School Play Day Wednesday, February 5th, 2020
We are thrilled to participate in our third annual Global School Play Day at Rowe Lane Friday, February 5th! The philosophy of Global School Play Day is to provide the gift of unstructured play to our children in schools. Classroom teachers will be talking to students about this upcoming event and what they can bring to school. Please refer to your child's teacher communication to help support this special day!
“You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.”
