CSD Weekly Update
WEEK #18, Cambrian School District, 01.08.21
Dear Cambrian Families,
Happy 2021! We’ve come to the end of Week #18 for the school year and Week #1 for 2021. I hope you all had a wonderful, healthy, restful time over the holidays.
The 2020-21 school year has brought a variety of challenges that have required weekly communication to help everyone stay up-to-date with the myriad of information regarding COVID, both in our District and throughout our community. As we move forward into this new year, we will be sending out our district newsletters twice per month -- every two weeks. Any urgent communication will be sent out through email announcements, as well information posted on our websites and through social media.
School health and safety is a universal concern, and over the holiday break Governor Newsom released a Safe Schools for All Plan proposal. Governor Newsom also indicated that the California Department of Public Health would provide schools further guidance that is to be released today, Friday, January 8th. When we receive this new information, we will be sure to communicate with staff and families as this will certainly impact our next steps for returning to in-person instruction.
As we start this new year, I’d like to thank you once again for your partnership and support, as we have navigated these uncharted waters in public education. I am looking forward to a great 2021 in the Cambrian School District.
Have a wonderful weekend! We are Cambrian!

Due to chronic state underfunding, declining enrollment, and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cambrian School District is facing a budget deficit. Since early 2019, the District has been assessing potential district-owned land development opportunities to create additional on-going, annual revenue to sustain our award-winning programs.
