College Life
Jackie Robinson attended Pasendena city College from 1937-1939. He then transferred to the University of California also known as UCLA. He did not receive any degrees from either college but was an amazing athlete.
Accolades
Jackie Robinson was the first African American to leave the Negro league and play in the Major league. He won Negro league batting champion and MVP in the same year. In his first year in the Major league he won rookie of the year. He was a 6x all star(1949-1954) during his career. Jackie Robinson helped his team to a world series championship in 1955. He got his number retired by all MLB teams(42). Jackie was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1962.
