Bear Notes-Wk17 Dec.14th-Dec.18th

Serving kids. Growing scholars.

Note from the principal...

Team,

Wow! Last week was a busy one and we are not finished yet. A huge thank you to all who participated in Science Night and also the Winter Program. Both of those events required extra time and support and are only a successful when we work to together. Thanks again for all you do to enrich our scholars' educational experiences. Also, I want to thank those who continued to work with our scholars even after the school week ended. As you may know this weekend many participated in the Mayor's Race and also a bike giveaway sponsored by a local church (see pics below).

This week our focus continues to be ACP's. It is imperative that we give our scholars that little extra push they may need to remain focused and on track. Be sure to consistently remind them of the importance of doing their very best.

Also, teachers please be reminded that we have moved our Monday PD to Thursday when we will have our all faculty and staff social from 3:45 - 4:45 (see details below).

Now, with all that is going on I know it can seem overwhelming but try to remember to enjoy yourself during this times. It is special! Look for the miracles (big and small) that are sure to occur. Cherish the time with your scholars and colleagues. Be patient, kind and loving. Make some memories.

Have a merry week!
