INFORMATIONAL TEXT IN YOUR CLASSROOM
Let me know when I can come in and give booktalks that correspond with your curriculum! BIG thanks to Mrs. Maberry who asked me to share some murder mysteries at the end of her short story unit. Next up with eighth grade: Nonfiction to complement Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry.
You can also use your document camera to share a book with the whole class. AND. . fair use allows us to make copies from books we own. You may reproduce 10 percent of the work or 1,000 words--whichever is less. See me for some GREAT examples of nonfiction. Gotta get those informational texts into the hands of the students! :)
