PRINCIPAL'S POINTS

Parents:

I would like to thank you for completing our online parent survey. This survey is an important tool for us to generate information about areas in which we need growth and areas that are already working well.

From this information, we have already met as a leadership team to implement change this year and next year. Our Campus Improvement Team will be meeting next month to review the results and set goals for next year. Your feedback will play a crucial role in focusing our needs and goals for the high school campus.

Again, thank you for your time and consideration. Together, we can make VAHS a great learning environment for ALL of our students.

REAGAN AND GRANT SMALL SCHOLARSHIP

An endowed scholarship is being set up through the Van Alstyne Education Foundation to honor Reagan and Grant Small. All donations are tax free and will help us to continue to honor the memory of these two precious children for years to come. Checks can be made payable to the VAEF with Reagan and Grant's name in the memo line. You may send your monetary donation to:

Van Alstyne Education Foundation
PO Box 1620
Van Alstyne, TX 75495

With an endowed scholarship once the requirements are met, the foundation will be able to give a scholarship each year without having to continuously raise the money yearly. Karen and her family will be able to present this scholarship and continue to keep the memory of her children alive for years to come. If you could help with any amount at all, it will be GREATLY appreciated.
