Youth Photovoice

For Tri-County High School Youth

Youth Photovoice at Eaton Rapids Teen Center

Do you like to express yourself and care about creating healthier school climates?

We are asking you (8th to 12th youth grade in the Tri-County Area) to let us know what inspires you to be healthy and to reach for your dreams. What can your communities could do to better support you in being healthy? You are invited to participate in a unique photography project called Photovoice to express your viewpoints and to answer these questions.

Join with other teens in capturing pictures and telling stories about the issues that matter most around youth health, wellness and mental health (including but not limited to self-esteem, bullying, suicide, teen depression, substance abuse, violence, dating, grades, extra curricular activities, setting goals, making friends, pursuing dreams and being happy). Your photos and captions will be made into a display to inform decision makers and the community about what teens most need today to be healthy and motivated to pursue their dreams.
