People in the Jewish religion are called Jews. The key beliefs are Shabbat, Study of Torah, Following god’s laws, including 10 commandments, and justice emphasized, God considers all people equal. Shabbat is a holy day Friday evening to Saturday evening. This is every week and they pray on Friday and Saturday. Two sacraments are that some can only eat kosher food-no pork, shellfish, or mixing milk and meat products. Bar (boy) or bat (girl) mitzvah at age 13. Some people can only eat certain foods because of their religions. For example, if I was Jewish and part of those some people I would only be able to eat kosher foods. Jews place of worship is a synagogue. This is a place where Jews go pray to the gods. For example, if I were a Jew I would have to go to the Synagogue every day. The leader they Worship is a Rabbis. A Rabbi is a teacher of Torah; guide. I would go to Rabbis and learn Torah. Their Holy Book is Tanakh or as other people say Torah. In the Holy Book Torah there are Laws, Writings, and Prophets. Every day I would read from it and pray. The holidays are Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Passover, and Hanukkah. Hanukkah is to celebrate the miracle of oil lasting 8 days when only enough for 1 day in temple. For Jews, the Western Wall that is in Jerusalem. Western Wall is the last remain of the temple. Now people go to the wall and pray. The most common figure is Abraham because he is the founder of this religion. The God known to all three religions is Monotheism.
