The new bell schedule for James Hart starts.

The times for class periods change slightly and lunch moves to 12:15 pm, after 6th period.

Tuesday, March 2, 2021:

6th-grade Hybrid students attend from 7:45 am-12:15 pm

6th-grade Remote students must check-in for Advisory for attendance for the day and then the rest of the day is Asynchronous learning. Students should check Teams and their emails for assignments.

Wednesday, March 3, 2021:

6th and 7th-grade Hybrid students attend from 7:45 am-12:15 pm

7th-grade Remote students must check-in for Advisory for attendance for the day and then the rest of the day is Asynchronous learning. Students should check Teams and their emails for assignments.

Thursday, March 4, 2021:

6th, 7th, and 8th-grade Hybrid students attend from 7:45 am-12:15 pm

8th-grade Remote students must check-in for Advisory for attendance for the day and then the rest of the day is Asynchronous learning. Students should check Teams and their emails for assignments.

Friday, March 5, 2021:

All students are remote on Fridays.

Saturday, March 6, 2021:

Saturday School is canceled.

Starting Monday, March 8, 2021:

6th, 7th, and 8th-grade Hybrid students attend Mondays through Thursdays from

7:45 am-12:15 pm.

Our Hybrid-Learning Program runs from 7:45 am until 12:15 pm, (which is periods 1-6 on student schedules), Monday through Thursday. The last two periods of the day (periods 7&8) will be remote for hybrid students after dismissal/lunch.

Fridays are a remote day for all students.

7th and 8th-grade (remote and hybrid) students did not have schedule changes unless you have been contacted by the school.

6th-grade (remote and hybrid) schedule updates have been emailed to the student's email account. Classes in student Teams accounts are correct but student schedules will not be updated in Parent Portal until March 8th, when the new trimester starts.

Starting Monday, March 1st, Physical Education classes will look different for remote students. Our PE teachers will be explaining the changes to all classes on March 1st. Hybrid students will have PE classes but they will not change for class. Hybrid students will report to the Sports Complex during their scheduled PE class.

Students in the hybrid learning program will be able to get a bag lunch at dismissal if they place an order during Advisory daily.

There is a waiting list for our Hybrid Learning Program due to class sizes and safety mitigations. If you are interested in joining the waiting list for the hybrid, please email Principal Johnson at kimberly.johnson@hsd153.org.

We are happy to offer in-person Saturday School to provide academic assistance and help with missing assignments.

The program will run from 8-11 am on Saturdays.

Please note, there is No Saturday School on Saturday, March 6th.
