- Ages 15 to 25 brings peaks in all sorts of risky ventures

- Do not have the brain cell connections to "do" judgment calculations

- Brain begins to reorganize at age 12

- Brain cells and neuron connections that get used the least get cut away and die off

- The brain doesn't look like that of an adult until the early 20s.

Brain Changing = Changing Child

- Not able to reason

- Not mature

- Not able to listen

How to Help

- Listen

- Have patience

- Be understanding

- Set rules/ guidelines

- Know when to step in
