Important Information for You!

Data Days

Wow...with the snow day, we have now had to reschedule both Data Days. This Tuesday, Megan C and I will be meeting with three person PLC teams and next week we will meet with four person PLC teams. I look forward to meeting with you. Please be sure to review the agenda on Google to ensure you are fully prepared.

Cool to Care Campaign

As the items have began moving from classrooms to the sorting area, it is awesome to see the number of items coming in. It makes me happy to think about the number of families that will be helped by the generosity of our students and staff. With this week being the half-way point, please send me the number of items your classroom has collected. Thank you for all you do to promote this worth cause.

New Emergency Posters

On Friday all classroom teachers received an email from Anna regarding Emergency Posters. The district has worked to updated the Emergency Posters to reflect the practices/expectations for how staff and students should respond in an emergency situation. These will be placed in all classrooms, offices, and common areas and ALL staff should be sure to read them carefully. In classrooms, the poster should be hung near the door along with the red/green flip chart, and fire/tornado maps. Red and green cards will not be used at this time. If you have any questions about the procedures, posters, or what should be in your room/office, please let me know.

Text Alerts

With Tuesday's snow day, now is the perfect time to remind everyone, and inform all of our new staff members, that it is important to sign-up for Text Alerts. These alerts will make sure you get notified when school is closed due to weather, or for any other reason. To sign up, go to and on the left side you will see a link for EdAlert. Enter your information and you'll be set to get text messages when school is closed. You can also get the ABC-12 app on your phone and check there. I often see the announcement there before it comes through text alert.

Do ONE Thing and Make a Big Difference!

I have loved reading your 'Grateful, Thankful, Blessed' post-its, so let's keep it going. Please take a moment to share something you are grateful, thankful, and blessed to have in your life and to read those that are up already. See how doing this 'one' thing will help make you a little happier and your day a little brighter.
