Volunteer Requirements:

All volunteers MUST have Live Scan Fingerprinting on file at the school. Please call the school or email Mrs. Laham, Administrative Assistant, at bethany.laham@windhamacademy.org to see if yours is still on file. These are valid for three years, however we must have it on file at the school.

**Introducing a NEW Band Program at Windham Academy Through Real School of Music for Grades 4+

The New Band Director will be visiting each classroom in Grades 4-7 to directly speak about the different instruments which will be available for students to choose. Information will be going home with students. Band will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.

Girls on the Run participants will be able to join band after the season, if there is interest! :)

Before School Care

Offered Daily on a Drop-In Basis Starting at 7:30am!

Windham Academy offers "Before School Care" each school day starting at 7:30am. It is available on a drop-in basis so there is no registration required. We do ask that if you think that you will be utilizing this service at all this year, to complete an ACH Payment Form so payment can be made directly to the school. The charge is $10 each day for your first child and $7 each day for any additional child. Payment is made monthly.


The entrance for the Before School Care is in the front double doors. Also, you may order breakfast through Boonli if your child attends morning care.

We are using Boonli as our Ordering System! Please click the logo below to create an account once we are live!

*Menu options will be posted in Boonli as well as on our web site for each month. You can order for a whole month or by the week. Orders are due NO LATER than Tuesdays at 11:59pm for the following week's breakfast and/or lunch. Please note that breakfast is only available if your child attends our before school care.


*Vegetarian options are available daily.


*If your child requires a special diet such as Gluten Free or Dairy Free, please complete this form. We also must receive a letter from his/her doctor before we can allow ordering off of these special menus.


*All food is freshly prepared and delivered daily from Cravings of Nashua.


*There is a ONE time Registration Fee.

School Safety: ALL DOORS ARE LOCKED!

ALL Visitors MUST go through "Door A" which is our main entrance and is located on the left side of the front of Windham Academy

*All doors will be locked throughout the school day for student and staff safety.

*Any visitor must sign in at the main office and state the purpose for being at Windham Academy.

*All exterior doors now have alarms so if opened during the school day, an alarm will sound.

*We are currently upgrading our security equipment including cameras, alarms, panic buttons, etc.

Morning Drop Off:

Please Note: Buses for Windham Residents will be utilizing the road in front of the school, as well as the cul-de-sac. There will be no parking except for staff in front of the school on Industrial Drive during this time.


When you come up Industrial Drive, take your first right into the parking lot. Drive the entire length of the parking lot and make a U-turn to your left to "curve" back alongside the building.


Morning Drop Off Begins at 8:25am. If you arrive prior to 8:25 YOUR CHILD MUST REMAIN IN THE CAR UNTIL STAFF ARE PRESENT OUTSIDE. Drop off will take place in a designated zone between orange cones. Please DO NOT drop off your child unless you are in the designated area. This is for the safety of both our students and staff.


Parents must stay in the vehicle during drop off.

Please have your child unbuckled and ready to exit the vehicle on the PASSENGER side. Staff cannot reach into the car to unbuckle or assist with coats, etc.



Anyone arriving after 8:45am must walk their child to the front office to sign them in as tardy.

Parking WILL NOT be allowed in the cul-de-sac during morning drop off.

**Please Note: The latest time for early dismissal by a parent is 2:15pm. After 2:15pm, parents must follow our afternoon dismissal procedures. Thank you for your attention to this.

Afternoon Dismissal Starts at 2:45pm: NEW TIMES...

Dear Parents/Guardians,


As we continue to transition to numbers and PickUp Patrol, I kindly asked for your patience and understanding during this process. On any given afternoon, we have approximately 175-195 cars to go through during our dismissal time. Most student numbers have been issued. Each family received two copies for use in two cars. Please hang each number from your mirror and/or dashboard. Each child will also be receiving a backpack size number that will connect to each student’s backpack. Please ensure that this remains on your child’s backpack.


We have updated the arrival times (color your number is printed on) for our car sections to best accommodate the number of last names at each letter. The following is the new structure effective immediately:


Green = 2:40-2:55 *Please do not arrive before 2:40pm so early lines do not form down Industrial.

Pink = 2:55-3:05

Purple = 3:05-3:15


Dismissal begins at 2:45pm. Please arrive within your color block. Please know that a lot of time and planning has gone into refining our process between administration and the Board of Trustees. The procedure will continue to get smoother once we are all experienced with this new routine.


Please remember to stay to the right side on Industrial Drive so cars and trucks who are not affiliated with Windham Academy may still travel on the road without having to go over the yellow line. Also, please do not block any entrances to our neighbor’s businesses. This is very important as we do not want to have a negative impact on their small businesses. We truly appreciate everyone’s help with that.


Please also be sure to enter your information into your PickUp Patrol account. Your child’s “Default Plan” is the method he/she goes home the majority of the time. You can also change your plan each day, if needed, and also mark your child absent right in PickUp Patrol. If you still have not received your invite from PickUp Patrol through email, please email our main office immediately to let us know: office@windhamacademy.org.


I truly appreciate everyone’s kindness, support, and willingness to follow the above procedures so that we can get to a routine of a safe and timely pickup procedure for our school.

Please Note: Children who are not picked up by 3:15pm and who are signed-up with the YMCA After-School Club will be directed to the after-school program. Other students who have not been picked up by 3:15pm will be taken to the main office to await their rides. After 1 instance of a “late” pick up, a late fee of $20 will be charged to the family. After 3:30pm, the charge will be $1 additional for each minute.
