News from the Principal
We hope our Washington families are safe and healthy.
No students/families will be allowed inside the building beginning May 4, 2020 until given District approval; not anticipated prior to May 14, 2020. We will do curbside delivery of medication that has been left at the campus beginning Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 8am - 12noon and 1pm - 3pm. Please contact the school at 936-709-7400 to schedule a pick-up time for the medication. We anticipate we will start letting students come up to drop off library books, pick-up equipment from gym lockers, and turn in chrome books beginning May 18, 2020. Further information will be coming concerning these issues.
Our teachers are preparing lessons for each week to be done online in your child's teachers' CANVAS page. The paper packets for students that do not have electronic devices will be available to pick-up on Mondays from 8am - 12pm in the back of the school where the buses load and unload. Please make sure that you know which teachers your child has for Math and Reading as this will help us select the correct packet for your child. If you can not make it on Monday between 8am - 12pm, you may pick the packet up on Tuesday or Thursday from 8am - 12pm in front of the school. Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday will be the only days the packets can be picked up from the campus from 8am - 12pm. Also, we will be accepting the learning packets that the students have completed from the previous week from 8am - 12noon on Monday(in back of the school), & Tuesday and Thursday( in the front of the school). We need for your child to list the names of his/her teachers on the very front of the learning packets. If you need answers to general questions, you can email contactwashington@conroeisd.net or call 936-709-7400 between the hours of 8:00am - 3pm, Monday - Friday.
