Big picture

2nd Grade Adventures

In order to promote high attendance, we will be spelling out the word ATTENDANCE. Each day that our class has 100% attendance a letter will be added. When the whole word is spelled out, we will celebrate. We will also have a school wide prize for the grade level with the highest attendance. Please help us reach our goal in 2nd grade!

Lunch Visitors

2nd Grade lunch- 11:15-11:45

We ask that you please not visit during lunch until after Labor Day. This will allow your student to have plenty of time to become familiar with lunch time procedures and develop friendships!

Reminders

September 6- Grandparents Day Lunch

-Transportation changes need to be called into the front office.

-Sign up for Class Dojo to get important updates and reminders from your students teacher.

Family Focus

This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.

This weeks Family focus: Ask your student how their week was and about rules and how to be a good student and friend in the classroom.
