Wow! We had such a great very first day of school at Tarvin Elementary! So fun having the Rouse drumline play to welcome our families. They all learned the definition of a trailblazer so ask them to tell you.

I know dismissal did not run very smoothly and I hope you will give us grace. We will continue to work on improving our systems and the lines will go faster.

To clarify, 2nd-5th grade walkers will walk out the front door. Prek-1st grade walkers will be at the side door to the left of the school by the EC/Kinder neighborhood. If you want to walk up and greet your child, please park in the front lot and walk those areas.

All car riders need to stay in the car. We do not want students taken by parents from the car rider line. Again, this line will move faster as everyone learns the system.

If you are parking and walking your child in the building, please park in the middle lot.
