MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
This past Friday students from Robinwood participated in the Tik Tok Talent Show presented by the PTO. The event included more than 25 students and a variety of acts. The emcees of the night were our 5th grade students, using their leadership qualities to introduce their peers. Students showed off their dance moves, funny jokes, singing and instrument talents along with martial arts moves, gymnastics routines, acting skits, yo-yo demonstration and a hoops routine. I am blown away by the braveness and talented students who performed for the audience. Bravo Bravo!! I am so incredibly proud of all Robinwood Jaguars who performed!! Shout out to our PTO for organizing and providing a wonderful opportunity for students and to our 2nd shift custodial staff, Mr. Cantrell and Mr. Dorff for all the behind the scenes work!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bombien

April 17th-21st is Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week in Wisconsin. Severe weather can occur at any time and in any part of the country. Severe weather can include hazardous conditions produced by thunderstorms, including damaging winds, tornadoes, large hail, flooding and flash flooding, and winter storms associated with freezing rain, sleet, snow, and strong winds.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), Wisconsin averages 23 tornadoes per year. The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed 28 tornadoes touched down in the state of Wisconsin during 2022.
In addition to preparedness and education this week, the State of Wisconsin is also conducting a statewide tornado drill on Thursday, April 20 at 1:45 pm and 6:45 pm. Everyone is encouraged to review emergency plans and the shelter-in-place locations (located on the Safety Maps at all entrances and near elevators/stairways). The drill will not include a mock tornado warning issued, which means there will be no test alerts sounded on NOAA Weather Radios. Some communities may still choose to test their outdoor warning sirens during the drill times.
All FPS elementary buildings will be conducting drills in conjunction with the statewide drill at 1:45PM.
Please review other information below and click on the image to see more severe weather information from the National Weather Service.

MESSAGE FROM MR. BAUER
Parents, for the next few weeks students will be working on improving their manipulative skills of overhand throwing and catching. We will discuss in class teaching cues that go with the physical skill of throwing. Along with that, we will play a variety of throwing activities to give plenty of opportunities to improve. We will discuss that mistakes are a good thing and it's how we learn to improve.
