This week is homecoming week. Please see the list below for special dress up days.

*Monday: Neon Day (Wear the brightest colors you have)

*Tuesday: Crazy Day (The crazier the hat and hair the better)

*Wednesday: Superhero Day (Dress as your favorite superhero)

*Thursday: Inside Out Day (Wear your cloths inside out)

*Friday: Red and Black Day (Students may wear mums and garters, BUT all bells must be taped. Please understand that students are wearing them at their own risk, knowing something can happen to them.)

This week:

Spelling Unit 3

Vocabulary Unit 3 - Context Clues

Spelling & Vocabulary tests on Friday! Please make students are studying throughout he week, as well as reading every night and completing their reading logs.

We will continue with Fiction Elements and Story Maps this week. We will have a comprehension test on Friday.


We will begin Unit #2: Algebraic Reasoning. Students will learn about prime and composite numbers, expressions and equations, and order of operations. Please be sure students are completing their homework and studying vocabulary.

Unit #1 test grades are in skyward. Grades will come home Tuesday in orange folders, please sign and return them Wednesday.


We will finish up the 3 states of matter and begin mixtures and solutions. Students need to be studying vocabulary and notes that we are taking in class.

Social Studies

Week #3: Comparing the New Colonies. Students will read week #3 and take a quiz on Friday. Please remember that students can read the newspaper online at Studies Weekly and play games.
