The border patrol and the cost guard have been using drones from other agencies to watch the land from the drones very powerful video cameras to look for drug trafficking and for illegal immigrants trying to cross the border.

THE LAW SEE'S EVERYTHING WITH DRONES

"Today, police agencies are showing a marked interest in the use of aerial drone, which can fly at altitudes of 50,000 feet for over 30 hours. Many of the more advanced models, like the Predator B, include infrared cameras and specialized radar." The FBI also has drones but aren't as advanced as the ones the border patrol has.
