Mental Health Support at the High School
Leslie Wing is a counselor from Wayne Behavioral Health Network. She has an office in the high school where she meets one-on-one with Williamson students for counseling a couple days a week.
Olivia Kime, a counselor is part of the School-Based Advocacy and Counseling Program through Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes, Inc. She comes to the high school each week to meet with students.

Pre-ETS - Summer Programming and Family University (May 5th)
In-School Sessions During Summer School:
The Pre-Employment Transition Services Program can provide in-school sessions during your summer school programming. I have attached our menu of options. If you are interested in providing any of these workshops, please let me know and we can setup a schedule of services. Note, students would need to meet the eligibility requirements for Pre-ETS and complete the referral process before attending a workshop.
Summer Experience Sessions for Agency Partners:
For our agency partners, if you are offering a summer camp, experience or enrichment opportunity for students between the ages of 14 – 21, please note that we can provide Pre-ETS workshops to these students during your summer experience. Please review the menu of workshops and let us know if you would like us to provide any of the workshops listed. Note, students must meet the eligibility requirements for Pre-ETS and complete the referral process before attending a workshop.
Virtual Summer Camp:
For enrolled students, we will be providing virtual workshops throughout the summer from July 5th through August 26th. More information will be out shortly.
Summer Field Trips:
For enrolled students, we will be providing college visits, trade school visits and workplace tours throughout the summer. More information will be out shortly on these trips.
Family University – Thursday, May 5th – 7pm – 8:30pm:
Our final Family University for this school year will be held this Thursday at P-TECH. We will be hosting the “Hidden In Plain Site” display and discussion. This event is open to all parents/guardians, school staff and community members who support students. See links below.

Scholarships for Williamson Seniors
Dear Seniors,
Several of the scholarships given at the our Awards Ceremony require an application.

Randy Aceto - civic and community service and personal qualities. Students who have earned the Eagle Scout or Gold Award are strongly encouraged to apply.
Isaac Lagoner Memorial - participation in one Varsity sport and one high school music program, demonstrated Christian values, active in Church and a B average.
Williamson Rotary Service above Self - civic and community service and personal qualities.
CSEA - any senior attending college or a vocational/trade school in the fall.
Gail Vanderbilt - Nursing degree bound.
Allman Endowment- Open to any senior.
These scholarships will be given to Williamson High School students. A link to the applications is here. Paper applications are available in the Counseling Office. Or, contact Mrs.Prater (aprater@williamsoncental.org)to receive a copy of the applications via email. The dollar amount on these particular scholarships last year ranged from $250 - $1,000.00. Don’t miss out on these opportunities.

seniors - Local Scholarship Spotlight
The Williamson Fellowship of Churches has established an annual scholarship of at least $600 to be awarded to a deserving graduating senior residing in Williamson, NY. The student receiving the award is acknowledged for their Christian faith and how it is lived out in their community and church. Announcement of the recipient of the award will happen at the Baccalaureate Service on June 23rd at 7pm.
Applications for the scholarship will be reviewed by the Fellowship’s Scholarship Committee, which is comprised of representatives from the Fellowship of Churches. Applications for consideration must be made by the student and all applications must include a pastoral or church leadership endorsement. Requirements of applicants for consideration include a grade point average of C+ or better, must be active in a Church and must be continuing with education beyond high school.
Applications must be submitted to the Williamson Fellowship of Churches, c/o Rev. Francis Gasparri, PO Box 104, Williamson, NY 14589, by June 3rd, 2022.
