Parent/ Teacher Conferences- Early Release March 1st & March 2nd

The time is drawing near for our March Early Release Conference Days. The early release dates for conferences are March 1st and March 2nd, 2023. Both days are early release days where students attend school in person and will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. to give teachers an opportunity to continue meeting with parents.


We encourage in-person conferences but will also offer the convenience of online Zoom conferences to our parents on an as needed basis. This allows you to make and change your conference appointments more easily and choose times that best match your family’s schedule.


Patrick Elementary School is using PTCFast.com for conference signups. Please use the link below to sign up for a conference.


1) Go to https://ptcfast.com/schools/patrickpups


2) Select the conference for your child’s teacher


3) Fill in the required information.


4) Please be sure to indicate whether you would like to meet in-person or via Zoom by typing that in next to your child’s name.



Parents who need an interpreter must sign up for a time during the following blocks of time:


  • Between 1- 5 on Wednesday, March 1st
  • Between 1 - 3 on Thursday, March 2nd

February AI challenge

Come join us and be inspired by the works of art that our students have created! The show is conveniently scheduled on early release days, March 1st and 2nd from 1pm-4pm so that you may view artwork before or after conferences. Student musician performances from 2pm-3pm. We hope to see you there!

Gwinnett County Public Schools offers a BIRTH TO FIVE program for you and your child at Patrick Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year!

‐ Learn how to continue learning at home or anywhere
‐ Learn about your child’s educational milestones
‐ Learn how to get your child READY FOR SCHOOL!


The GCPS Play 2 Learn website is filled with information about this program, as well as exciting read-alouds, easy ideas for activities at home, and important early learning resources.

Free and Reduced Lunch

Children need healthy meals to learn. Gwinnett County Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.50; lunch costs $2.25 for elementary and $2.50 at middle and high schools. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. The reduced price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch.

PTA is hosting a Virtual 5K Fun Run fundraiser and we are raising money for our Specials classrooms. See flyer for more information!


FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE tickets are on sale in the PTA Store! Pre Order (by March 7) price: $40 per family. At the Door price: $60 per family. This event is for father and daughter(s) that are Patrick students only. See flyer for more information.

  • Basketball Season Reminders
    • Only Seckinger HS students and opposing HS students will be permitted in games without a parent. High School IDs will be checked.
    • Students must leave school on game day and can return one hour prior to tip-off. Students will enter through the main gym lobby.
    • All games are available for purchase online. Visit the GoFan website here: https://gofan.co/
  • All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult at all sporting events.

Upcoming Football Camp for Rising 1st to 8th Graders

Seckinger's new head football coach, Toni Lotti, is hosting a Youth Football Camp this June for rising 1st through 8th graders. Each camper will receive a T-Shirt and learn the fundamentals of football.


When: June 13 - June 15 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Where: Seckinger High School Football Field - Jaquar Stadium

Instructors: Seckinger Football Staff and Special Instructors

Cost: $75 each ($55 for additional sibling)

Equipment Needed: Football cleats (tennis shoes in case of weather)
