Dream Mile Students who qualified for Dream Mile will compete on May 17th beginning at 8:10 am. Only parents who have participants can attend. Parents please walk around the gym to the track. You do not need to enter the building for this event. | Senior Clap out Klein Oak Seniors will walk the building for our students to recognize all their accomplishments on Monday, May 17th. Parents of KO seniors will wait at the playground until the seniors exit the building to take pictures outside. Siblings of Seniors will not be able to take pictures as they will return to class following the clap out. | 3rd Grade Staar Third grade will be taking the Reading STAAR test on Tuesday, May 18th. Summer Learning Summer Learning invites have been sent home for students who qualified in grades 2-5. Please return invites no later than May 21st. | Field Day- May 19th On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, Benignus Elementary will be having our 15th annual Field Day rain or shine. The whole school will be participating in a number of physical education activities and games. The field day schedule and activity times are listed below for your information. Field Day Schedule (Pre-K, EC /Developmental, K-2nd) 8:30-9:15 Grade level relay games 9:20-10:55 Students complete 15 stations (EC PM, 3rd-5th) 12:30--1:15 Grade level relay games 1:20-2:55 Students complete 16 stations If you didn't purchase a Field Day shirt, just have your student wear the appropriate color: Prek-2nd grade- gold shirt 3rd-5th grade- maroon shirt Field Day will occur rain or shine.
