Advanced America
The Revolution Has Changed Us All
The Revolution That Changed America
The Industrial Revolution all started in 1760´s in the British textile mills. This moved on to America in the 19th century and this made machines do all the work normal people do, this includes clothing and food for an affordable price.
Advanced Machines
The telegraph was one of the most advanced pieces of technology in the 19th century, communicating with people from far away places like New York to Nevada, Florida to Kansas. Another is the sewing machine, without this we wouldn't be wearing the clothes we are wearing now.
Transportation
In the 1700's roads were made of dirt and when it rained it would flood and the road would have mud in it. When the Industrial Revolution came the roads were made of crushed stone which made traveling much easier. Then instead of horses, came motorized vehicles or steam powered vehicles such as trains and boats to help people travel faster.
A Faster Way
Now comes mass production, we make items such as clothes and toys at a much faster rate then it was back then. Women had to sew clothing for the family but now the factories are doing it for them and at a affordable price.
What It Really is
All in all, the Industrial Revolution has changed the course of America forever, but think not only the positive things, there was child labor, poor factory conditions, and long, extreme working hours. So basically, the Industrial Revolution wouldn't happen without the pros and the cons
