SJE Announces New AD for 19-20
Our new athletic director will be Miss Mefferd our 4th grade teacher. She brings many good things to the table in terms of skills. She was a college athlete, very organized etc. I look forward to many good years with her as our AD. If you have a minute wish her well with her new responsibilities. Steve will mentor her some between now and into next year. .
Photo Contest Winners
We had our first Photo contest this year based on our school theme Real. Present. God. The pictures had to be taken by the kids and was open to all kids preschool through 8th grade. As you can see there are some great pictures.

19-20 Enrollment Underway
Current and new families, if you are planning on applying for an SGO or School Choice scholarship, please send me the first page of your 1040 sometime in March. There is a new process to apply for an SGO. For next year you will apply for an SGO online and just send me the 1040 to upload for you. The website will be available in early April. Watch for more details to come.
If you have questions about the process, please don't hesitate to ask Amy in the office or myself.
Carnival News
- The carnival is still looking for volunteers for the Spring Carnival. Whether you need volunteer hours or not, please consider signing up to help. There is still plenty of spots (about 20 of them)that need to be filled. Please encourage family and friends to volunteer also as we are only asking 1/2 hour of your time. We also are encouraging 7th & 8th graders to volunteer for games also. Cake Walk donation sign up has been added to carnival sign up page if you would like to donate a bake good

The Lutheran SGO for SJE
Lutheran Night at the TinCaps
This year’s Lutheran Night at the TinCaps will be on Monday, July 22 (7:05 PM). The game will feature post-game fireworks and Family Feast Night (hot dogs, popcorn, pizza slices and small soft drinks are all $1). Ticket prices did increase this year and are now $10
$1 from each ticket goes to the RN scholarship fund at Lutheran Life Villages which provides the opportunity for LLV staff to grow and earn their RN license.
