A world heritage site is a natural or man-made site, area, or structure recognized as being of outstanding international importance and therefore as deserving special protection. Sites are nominated to and designated by the World Heritage Convention (an organization of UNESCO).
Explain the difference between a physical and a cultural site?
The difference between a physical and a culture site is that a cultural site signifies meaning related to a cultural religious place and a physical site is a place that's not sacred to anyone and an example of one is the coco national park located in costa-rica.
Why should a world heritage site be protected?Name some sites across the world that are in jeopardy right now?
World heritage sites need to be protected because they are a significance to the country they are in and the countries that the world heritage sites are at make a big impact to the country making to be a tourist site. Lebanon are in crisis because of a group of jihadists trying to take over the world and the group is called Isis. Lebanon is getting deployed by gun shots and grenades therefor turning the country into a massacre a place people are terrified to go to.
