PTA Lifetime Awards

Please help us congratulate our PTA Lifetime Award recipients Rosario Brusniak and Esther Roady. Both of these ladies work hard volunteering their time and efforts to support the success and learning of our Mendenhall students. We are excited to nominate them as our 2016 PTA Lifetime Achievement Award winners.

2014-2015 School Report Card

The State of Texas 2014-2015 School Report Card for Mendenhall Elementary has now been released, and posted to the Mendenhall website This is a report required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. The report provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR), as well as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures. The information contained in the School Report Card is required by state law and is briefly described in the “School Report Card Definitions.” If you have any questions concerning the School Report Card, please let us know. Love Where You Live Parade

Love Where You Live Neighborhood Parade will take place on Saturday, February 6th from 10:00am - 11:00am starting from Mendenhall Elementary. Join Love Where You Live as the walk through the neighborhood encouraging residents to Love Where They Live! Help hand out program information, greet residents, and have lots of fun. Bring noise makers, bikes, and a smile. Leashed pets allowed. For more information, contact a Neighborhood Planner at 972-208-8150.

Box Tops

Our Mendenhall PTA is collecting box tops. This is a fast and easy way to make money for our school. Please cut out the box tops from the packaging of foods or items that you purchase and send them to school with your child. Our teachers will be happy to collect these for each grade level. The more we collect, the more we earn. Send your box tops in today!!

Parent Portal

The Plano ISD Parent Portal is your key to staying connected and up-to-date on your child's progress. On Parent Portal, you can:

  • View your child's grades and attendance
  • Update your Emergency Form - phone numbers and emergency contacts
  • Get a copy of your child's immunizations

Plano ISD's Mobile Computer Lab

Plano ISD's Mobile Computer Lab is a complimentary service available for the use of all parents of students who attend Plano ISD. Below are schedules of where the Mobile Computer Lab will be located in January and February. You are welcome to visit the lab at any of the locations and/or times. The Mobile Lab offers many great trainings and classes to assist Plano ISD parents.
