From Our PTSO!
HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS
HAPPY PASSOVER!
The PTSO wishes those individuals and families a Happy Passover or Chag Pesach sameach! Passover celebrates the Exodus, the liberation of Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Jews observe the weeklong festival with a number of important rituals, including a traditional Passover meal known as a seder, the removal of leavened products from their home, the substitution of matzo for bread and the retelling of the exodus tale
HAPPY EASTER!
The PTSO wishes those individuals and families a Happy Easter! Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion and is the foundation of the Christian faith. Jesus, believed by Christians to be the Son of God, fulfilled prophecy and through his death, gave the gift of eternal life in heaven to those who believe in his death and resurrection. Easter follows a period of fasting called Lent, in which many churches set aside time for repentance and remembrance.
