SBAC Continues
Students in Grades 3, 4 & 5 will participate in the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC). This is a system which includes summative assessment of students in Grades 3 through 8. The system consists of various parts. There will be a computer adaptive test for literacy and mathematics and a performance task for mathematics. The results of these assessments can be used to show student achievement and growth.
Below is an outline of the grades that will be testing each day. Your child’s teacher can provide you with a more a more detailed outline of the testing schedule.
If your child must be absent during this window, a make up date will be arranged. Teachers have prepared for positive and calm testing environments. Please join us in ensuring that our students are both mentally and physically prepared. We encourage rest the night before, and breakfast will be available at school if needed. Thank you for your continued support!
