VANWAGNEN NEWS
Thank you so much to the many families who were able to participate in our Halloween celebrations on Wednesday. We appreciate you taking the time to enjoy this day with all of us.
Trunk or Treat was also a wonderful family event, and a tremendous success. It was enjoyable to see so many families attend. We appreciate all of our local businesses, school organizations and community members who sponsored a trunk and supported our parade through town.

THANK YOU VETERANS
Our Veterans Day assembly will be a memorable event. We are honored to welcome over 90 guests who have served our country. It is always a privilege to share this day with our local Veterans and their families. We are fortunate to have members of the armed forces among our CUES staff. Thank you to these special people for your contributions to our country:
Mr. Nathan Williams, Senior Airman
Mr. Benjamin Learned, Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class
Mrs. Megan Hall, Retired Michigan Army National Guard Major
Thank you to all veterans for serving our country and protecting our freedoms.
On Veterans Day we honor all,
Who answered to a service call.
Soldiers young, and soldiers old,
Fought for freedom, brave and bold.
Some have lived, while others died,
And all of them deserve our pride.
We're proud of all the soldiers who,
Kept thinking of red, white and blue.
They fought for us and all our rights,
They fought through many days and nights.
And though we may not know each name,
We thank ALL veterans just the same.
