Average is OFFICIALLY over!
Our fourth week of school....time is flying!
As we celebrate College and Career Week, I would like to welcome Ms. Clark back to the team! Also, please keep Mr. Darrel McClemore in your thoughts and prayers as he lost his wife last week. We will keep you posted on service arrangements.
This week's tidbits for professional learning are from the topics of Teacher Collaboration and Using Eye Contact with High and Low Achieving Students.
Have a great week of teaching and learning!
Things to know!
Please remember that progress reports go home next Tuesday. Catch up on your grading if you are behind. Remember, one grade per week must be represented in INOW for all students. We will print Progress Reports on Friday, September 4 in order to have them ready on Sept. 8.
A few of our Professional Development and Faculty Meetings have been loaded in STI-PD. Please make sure you register for them in order to get credit.
Honor Student Questionnaire Survey
Teachers, please do not forget to administer the questionnaire to your Honors and DP classes. Students only need to take the questionnaire once. The link for the questionnaire is posted on Edmodo.
Please make sure you are taking your attendance during each period/block. In one instance, a student skipped classes for over a week and sat in another teacher's class he was not enrolled. This should not occur. Taking your attendance is important to ensure students are where they should be. If a student is present at school and not in class, an office referral for skipping should be sent to the office.
Monday Lunch Schedule
Please ensure that your students attend the correct lunch. Students who attend the wrong lunch should be written up for skipping.
Remember, hall passes should only be written in the event of an emergency. It is the expectation that students remain in class and are learning.
Continue to input your tardy log names into the Google Doc. This worked well for our last Pep Rally. Our next Pep Rally is coming soon.
Going on this week!
