- If you would like to grow your PLN, please schedule a time with me and I will take you through the steps of creating your educational Twitter account.
- IMPORTANT: If a student leaves their Chromebook in your classroom or you find one in the hallway, PLEASE call me, email me or bring it straight to my office. If you can't get it to my office I will com get it from you. Whatever you do, DO NOT give it to another student to give back. I am going to keep track of who looses their Chromebook and when they get it back.
- THANK YOU!!!! Just a quick thank you for all your hard work getting use to using the Chromebooks!
Please click on the title "Staff Survey" for a brief survey in regards to Google Apps. I will be using this to collect data to see what types of Professional Development I need to offer. Thank you to those who completed the survey already.
Let's Try Something New
Timelines
Timeline allows students to create a graphical representation of an event or process by displaying items sequentially along a line. Timelines can be organized by time of day, date, or event, and the tool allows users to create a label with short or long descriptive text. Adding an image for each label makes a timeline more visually appealing.
Add, drag, and rearrange items as needed. Saving capability allows students to return to their work and make revisions, and they can share their final work via e-mail.

Formative Assessment
This website is great for Formative Assessments. Create a fun learning game in minutes or choose from one created already. Kahoot fosters social learning with no logins required.
Boomerang
Boomerang is an easy way to schedule emails to be sent out at a later date. Once it is installed, the next time you go to write an email, you will have the option to "send later" to schedule a time for it to be sent out. It's great for sending reminders before an event, weekly/monthly email newsletters or updates, or even reminding yourself to look at an email when you have more time.
