UPDATES
Propel's Health and Safety Plan (available on the Propel Schools website on the Coronavirus Resource page) has been updated regarding:
- Propel’s next phase of recovery and revitalization.
- Updated social distancing plans that align with new guidance from the CDC.
- The extension of the current pause on in-person field trips and Celebrations of Learning until at least May 2021, when conditions will once again be reviewed.
Schedule Expansion for In-Person Learning
- Beginning on Monday, April 19, we will begin a 4 day per week, every week in-person learning schedule for scholars who are currently attending in-person learning.
- In-person learning scholars will attend in-person learning on Mondays through Thursdays every week, with continued Friday Remote Learning for all scholars.
- This expansion of in-person learning has been carefully and thoughtfully planned, with safety as our top priority. COVID-19 safety measures will continue to play an important role in our school buildings.
The 100% Remote Learning Protocol will remain in place for the remainder of the school year for families who have chosen that option. On Monday, April 19, 100% Remote Learning Scholars will have an asynchronous learning day, as school communities begin the expanded in-person learning schedule.
Additional Important information for families:
If your scholar is currently engaging with in-person learning and you would like to have them transition to the 100% Remote Learning Protocol, please reach out to your school’s principal to make this request. Transitions from In-Person Learning to 100% Remote Learning will take effect on Monday, April 19, 2021. More information will be provided to you by your school’s principal.
Propel is communicating with transportation departments of resident school districts to inform them of the expansion to the in-person learning schedule. You will receive transportation information directly from the school district in which you reside. As all decisions about transportation processes are made by the transporting districts, Propel is unable to answer questions or make changes to your scholar’s transportation.
The expansion of in-person scholar learning is a welcome and promising milestone for our school communities, as we continue to serve our families with excellence and move forward with our mission-based goals.
