Every Student... Every Day...
The Final Week Of School... We All Have Made It Together...
It’s hard to believe that we are in the final week of school. As I reflect back, we have accomplished so much together. We worked through tremendous challenges and all the while never lost sight of the prize: The best educational experiences for children.
This week will be full of celebrations and emotions. Schools are set up to welcome, support, challenge and celebrate learning. I truly feel as though we do a pretty good job at this. What excites me most about school is the fact that we always welcome new curious and creative minds within our incoming 5th grade students. And in the same breath, we celebrate the overall successes of our 8th grade students, especially since they will be leaving the nest of “middle level” nurturing and moving into the next phase of their educational journey. This always culminates with an amazing ceremony and a semi-formal experience for all 8th grade students. This year, we will stream our celebration live on our YouTube Channel at 8th Grade Celebration Ceremony. Also, be sure to know that I will be going LIVE on our Instagram with segments from the semi-formal as well - THIS is always so much fun.
As I reflect upon the school year, I would like to acquire some of your feedback. I will enclose a link to a very brief survey that will be used as we continue on the cycle of continuous improvement. I have always been a believer that we have one shot to make a great first impression, but I also know every organization has room to grow and improve. This week will be extremely busy but I promise it will be extremely great as well. Thank you all for your continued support and please know how excited we are for the 2022-2023 school year. I am available all summer and don’t hesitate to reach out directly to me.
Yours in education,
