Greetings Panther Families

I hope that your Thanksgiving break was a restful one with your family and friends. Now with just under three weeks remaining in the semester, it's extremely important that your student remain vigilant about completing assignments and communicating with teachers to ensure academic success.

Finals are scheduled December 19 (periods 1 and 2) , 20 (periods 3 and 4), & 21 (periods 5 and 6). These days will all be minimum days with the last day of student attendance being Thursday, December 21.

And now, here's your Panther Prowl for December 1, 2017.

Principal

Performing Arts: Theatre

Twelfth Night opened two nights ago on November 15 and is Corona High School's first Shakespeare production in 10 years! You still have time to catch the final performance tonight in the Performing Arts Center at 7:00 pm. The inspiration for the hit movie, She's the Man, Twelfth Night is a comedy full of mistaken identities, misplaced affection, and misguided pursuits. Come on out and support the theatre!

Mark your calendars for A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol, coming to the CHS stage December 7th and 8th at 7:00 pm.

Does your student want to be a part of the magic on stage? If so, encourage him/her to audition for this spring's musical, Legally Blonde. Auditions are December 4th and 5th. Have your student see Ms. Horn in R-101 or Mrs. Eden in B-1 for more details, or email cassie.horn@cnusd.k12.ca.us for a copy of the audition flyer.

Performing Arts: Choir/Madrigals

Our annual winter choir concert is December 13th, so please mark your calendars now. All 5 choirs will be performing together for this holiday-themed show. There will also be a silent auction during intermission and all proceeds go to help run our choir program. Much support is needed to send the Madrigals on tour to New York in April 2018.
