A Note from Mr. Hofer
Parents and Students,
We are excited to welcome everyone back for the 23-24 school year. It is going to be a tremendous school year for our students and the Geneseo School Community. We look forward to learning and growing together each and every day!
Please take a few moments to go through the links below in this newsletter. These links contain important information regarding procedures, routines, and schedules.
Classroom assignments will become final on Wednesday, August 9 at 4 p.m. for all students. You can find out your child's teacher by logging into your child's Skyward account.
We look forward to greeting Kindergarten students and parents for orientation on August 8 at 6:00 at Southwest. Our back to school open house is scheduled for August 14 between 4:00-6:00 for all students.

The first meeting will be September 14th. Pick Up & Drop OffSouthwest Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures | Health & Wellness Students are asked to bring a water bottle to school each day because only the water refilling stations will be in use for students to use. Please make sure the bottle is well-marked with your child's name. | Changes in TransportationIf your child has a change in their normal routine for transportation:

Changes in Transportation
If your child has a change in their normal routine for transportation:
- Please send a written note to your child(ren)'s teacher informing them of the change.
- Indicate on the note the name of anyone other than yourself that may be picking up your child.
- If the change happens during the school day, a call needs to be made by 1:00 pm in order to ensure communication and changes get relayed on time.
- Do not email transportation changes to your child's teacher as they may not be able to check their email during the school day.
