Introducing Mrs Stephanie Cusack, PE Teacher

Last week, thirteen Bennett staff members, as well as MISD's District Coordinator for PE, Karin Klemm, conducted two rounds of interviews for our PE coach position. We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Stephanie Cusack as our new Bennett PE teacher. Mrs. Cusack will begin at Bennett on Tuesday, October 23rd. All Bennett parents, students, and alumni are welcome to come and meet her at a reception on Wednesday, November 7th, from 3:30-4:15PM in the Bennett Learning Commons.

From Mrs. Cusack . . .

My name is Stephanie Cusack and I am excited to be the Bennett Bear PE teacher! I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. I graduated with a B.A in Communications from the University of Arizona in 1998. I went back to school to receive my teaching certification in EC-6 and my EC-12 certification in physical education. This is my third year working for McKinney ISD in physical education.

I have a wonderful husband, Ed and two beautiful daughters: Addison and Courtney. If you don’t see us on the soccer field, we are probably at swim practice or working on our homework. We love playing with all our family critters, reading books, and watching movies.

I am so honored to be your student’s PE teacher! I’m looking forward to building healthy habits that last a lifetime for our future leaders!
