Walled Lake gymnasts compete at states
Three Walled Lake gymnasts qualified for the MHSAA Gymnastics state final meet which was held March 10-11 at Lakeland High School: Natalie Vogt, Northern senior; Shaylee McCain, Central sophomore; and Charlotte Galloway, Northern freshman.
- Natalie just missed the podium and all state status (top 10) by 0.1 with 13th place on beam. She finished with not only her highest beam score at a state championship meet but a season high score as well.
- Natalie and Shaylee finished in the top 20 in the all around which is a huge accomplishment for their first time qualifying for the all around at states.
- Charlotte did well for her first time at states and is looking forward to next season already.
